The short version

This is an informational website. Read it, link to it, share it. Don't attack it, don't scrape it to impersonate us, and don't pass our work off as yours. That covers most of it — the details are below.

Using this site

summerfieldtech.com tells you who we are and what we make. Nothing more. There are no accounts, no forms, and no JavaScript, so there is honestly not much to misuse. Still, the basics: don't attack the site or probe it for weaknesses, and don't scrape or copy its content to impersonate us or mislead anyone. Treat it like a shop window — look around as long as you like.

WIPS, our app, is a separate thing. It lives at wips.summerfieldtech.com and has its own privacy policy. When you're over there, its policies apply — not these.

Our stuff

The content on this site — the words, the Summerfield name, and the mascot artwork — is © 2026 Summerfield Technologies. Someone drew that mascot by hand, so we're a little protective of it.

You're welcome to view everything here and share links wherever you like. Please don't republish our content or artwork as your own, use our name or mascot to suggest we endorse something we don't, or put our work on things you sell.

Links and third parties

This site links out to other places, including WIPS. We don't control third-party sites and can't vouch for what they do. Once you follow a link off this site, their rules apply. Use your judgment, same as anywhere.

No warranties, and a limit on liability

We provide this site as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we make no guarantees — a page may go down, or a detail may fall out of date before we catch it. To the fullest extent the law allows, Summerfield Technologies is not liable for damages arising from your use of this site or your reliance on what it says.

In practice, the stakes are low. This is a small informational site, not a service you depend on. But that's what the paragraph above means, and we'd rather say it plainly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Summerfield Technologies is a sole proprietorship based in Ontario.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top moves. The current version is always the one on this page.
