Our story
A small workshop, open since 2026.
Who we are, what we're making, and why we make it this way.
Summerfield Technologies opened in 2026. It was started by one person, after a career in web development and sales. The plan was never to build a big company. The plan was to build good tools.
The first one is WIPS, a task companion made for how ADHD brains actually work. It exists because someone close to us needed it. Most task managers assume a brain that arrives rested, focused, and on schedule. We wanted one for the brain that actually shows up — the one with forty open loops and a low battery.
It's free. It runs in your browser, works offline, and doesn't ask you to make an account. It's live today at WIPS.
That's the whole story so far. One product out the door, and no hurry about the next. We build slowly and on purpose.
How we work
Principles, in practice.
Works without us
WIPS runs in your browser and works offline — no account needed. It keeps working whether or not we're having a good quarter.
Built for hard days
We design for the brain that actually shows up, tabs and all. A tool should meet you where your attention is, not scold you for where it isn't.
Nothing watching you
This site has no analytics, no cookies, no trackers, and not one line of JavaScript. When you email us, it's a plain mailto link. That's the whole funnel.
Who's behind it
Summerfield is one person and a drawing board. The founder spent a career in web development and sales before opening the workshop, and prefers to let the work do the introductions — no bio, no headshot, just the tools.
The short version: someone who wanted software to feel like a good hand tool — something you trust, not something you manage.
