This policy covers the website you are reading right now — summerfieldtech.com. The WIPS app has its own privacy policy, which lives at wips.summerfieldtech.com/privacy-policy.html. If you came here with questions about the app, that is the page you want.

The short version

This site collects nothing. No analytics, no cookies, no accounts, no forms, no ads, no trackers. You can read every page here and we will never know you visited. That is by design, not by accident.

Who we are

We are Summerfield Technologies, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada — the small outfit behind WIPS. For anything privacy-related, write to privacy@summerfieldtech.com.

What we collect directly

Nothing. This site runs no JavaScript, sets no cookies, and has no forms or accounts. There is nowhere to type your name and no code watching what you read. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies.

Third parties that see your requests anyway

Serving a website still means computers talking to each other, so two companies handle your requests on the way here. We would rather name them than wave at "trusted partners."

• Google Fonts. This site loads its typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. When a page loads, Google receives your IP address and some browser details as part of serving the font files. Google's policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To serve and secure it, Cloudflare processes request metadata — your IP address and user-agent — and keeps standard server logs. Cloudflare's policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Email

Contact here works by plain mailto link. If you write to us, we see your email address and whatever you chose to send. We use it to reply — usually within 2–3 business days — and that is all. We do not add you to a list, share your address, or keep it anywhere clever. We're a small outfit and we read every note.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws like the GDPR give you rights over your personal data — to see what a company holds about you, to correct it, and to have it deleted. Here is the honest picture: unless you have emailed us, we hold nothing about you at all. If you have, ask at privacy@summerfieldtech.com and we will tell you what we have — your email — and delete it if you want. In Canada, the law that applies to us is PIPEDA, overseen by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada — and if you are ever unhappy with how we handle a request, you can take it to them at priv.gc.ca.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. No pop-ups, no "we've updated our terms" email blast — we don't have a mailing list to blast.
